Produced in Japan from the finest components available, the FREE THE TONE IG-1N Noise Reduction is a high-tech Noise Gate, one of the best on the market. The IG-1N is both highly intuitive and extremely powerful. Depending on your needs, you can connect it to your system in various ways for optimum results: directly to the instrument output (guitar, bass) or after your saturation effects.
The Threshold control lets you adjust the signal threshold that will trigger the reduction circuit.
The Mode control lets you choose between two options (progressive mode or more radical mode): - Noise Reduction: when the level of the input signal falls below the set threshold value, the circuit automatically lowers the output level and gradually adjusts the attenuation of the sound. - Noise Gate: interrupts the input signal when its level falls below the set threshold value. In all cases, the IG-1N Integrated Gate is ultra respectful of the original signal and offers extremely natural attenuation of extraneous noise. You never lose dynamics or distort frequencies.
This is thanks to a CPU that constantly monitors and analyzes input waveforms at high speed to obtain the optimum output level. The pedal can be activated/deactivated remotely via MIDI.
