Electric guitar amp head
Handcrafted in the USA from the finest components (20 watts, all tubes, EL84 power stage), the FRIEDMAN Jake E Lee JEL-20 Head electric guitar amplifier is the signature model of one of Hard-Rock's giants. In chords as well as in solo, this ultra-reactive amp responds to the slightest subtlety in your playing, with generous yet precise bass, musical midrange and mind-blowing amplitude and harmonic content.
The guitarist behind Ozzy Ozbourne (1983's Bark at the Moon and 1986's Ultimate Sin), Badlands and, more recently, Red Dragon Cartel, is a devotee of Marshall amps from the 1970s and 1980s. The JEL-20 is a high-end two-channel amp head featuring typical Plexi voicing and custom voicing for Jake E Lee in the tradition of 1980s Master Volume amps. They share the same EQ. Dedicated filters for each channel are available to adjust gain, compression and brightness.
The Jake E. Lee 20 Head features an internal analog load circuit and an XLR output with cab simulation for hyper-realistic sounds when connected directly to a recording/mixing console. Friedman's secret series-buffered effects loop (the same as on the BE-100) will integrate your timing effects and other racks into the signal with optimum efficiency.
