Friedman amplification Vintage Plex Head

Handcrafted in the USA from the finest components available, the FRIEDMAN Vintage Collection PLEX Head (50 watts, 2x EL34 Power Tubes, 3x 12AX7 Preamp Tubes) is an exceptional electric guitar amp. The PLEX is the sublimated version of Dave Friedman's favorite original vintage amp: the Marshall Plexi 1968 JMP Super Lead. It features two channels (Lead / Normal) with individual gain and volume controls. The result is that mythical "non-master volume" sound. The harder you push the amp, the more saturation, harmonics, richness, sustain and brilliance it delivers. The PLEX is equipped with a master volume control. It allows you to use the amp to its full potential at realistic output volumes, without degrading the signal, its dynamics or its balance.

The Friedman PLEX also features an internal "channel jumpering" circuit that replicates the old external wiring method of vintage Marshall Plexi amps. This allows you to subtly mix Lead and Normal channels by turning a simple potentiometer.

The PLEX's flexibility is further enhanced by two Bright selectors (one per channel). Three voicings let you adapt the head to the rest of your rig, guitar, effects or speaker cabinet.
