Folk guitar
The FURCH Green D-SR steel-string acoustic guitar is a Dreadnought with AA-grade solid Sitka spruce top, AA-grade solid Indian rosewood back and sides, solid African mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard.
The Furch CNR bi-directional truss-rod, housed in a carbon sleeve, allows precise adjustment of the neck curvature while stabilizing it. The proprietary Full-Pore Satin UV varnish has been developed to maximize the instrument's resonance while guaranteeing excellent protection. Furch guitars are extremely well positioned and have nothing to envy of equivalent models offered by American reference brands.
At Furch, it all starts with an uncompromising selection of wood species, during which environmental considerations are taken very seriously. Then comes the drying process, which the firm has spent many years perfecting before arriving at a perfect result. The classification of woods according to various criteria (color, grain, consistency, rigidity, etc.) also leaves nothing to chance. As we know, the soundboard and its dams play a fundamental role in the sound of the instrument and its durability. Here again, Furch draws on its thirty years of expertise to find the optimum balance between rigidity, volume, sustain and dynamics.
