Double cut electric guitar

Initially named "Les Paul", the SG Custom 61 (3 pickups) will only keep the design of the head, the ebony used for the fingerboard and the mahogany for the body.

The Gibson Custom Shop is reissuing this legendary model with its "Vibrola" vibrato (which equipped the models from the early 60s) and its set of Custombuckers pickups.

This model offers increased versatility and will allow you to navigate through different styles with ease. The balance between the mahogany of the body, the ebony fingerboard and the set of Custombuckers pickups offers a sound field slightly more oriented in the midrange frequencies (ideal for rhythms requiring more "snap") without losing the thickness of the Gibson grain.

The contribution of ebony for the fingerboard generates more "compressed" tones than the usual rosewood and will maintain your place in the mix when you play in a group.

Its "Vibrola" type vibrato will offer soft, precise playing nuances and will keep the tuning in all circumstances.
The instrument is delivered with certificate of authenticity and hardshell case.
