The GIBSON USA 80s Flying V (DSVE00EBCH1) continues the legacy of the original 1958 Flying V, a legendary solid body electric guitar.
Along with the Explorer, it's THE reference Gibson for Hard-Rock and Metal fans. Especially the 1984 model, released during the golden decade of this musical genre. The 80s Flying V is an attractive reinterpretation of this model, for which new Gibson 80s Tribute pickups have been developed.MaintenanceThe nitrocellulose varnish, as on vintage Gibsons, plays an important role in the instrument's "breathing". Thanks to its porous nature, vibrations are not muffled by the lacquer.
On the other hand, this varnish can react chemically with the plastics and foams of certain stands, as well as with certain cleaning products that are too detergent. To avoid damaging your guitar, we recommend Hercules stands with specially formulated non-abrasive foams.
