Custom Shop & Star's Music

The Gibson Custom Shop Made To Measure (M2M) program has been around since 2013. It allows you to place an order for the Gibson of your dreams (be it a Les Paul, an SG, an ES-335, an Explorer…), which you will have precisely determined the characteristics. It is this program that we can call on to build our own M2M models. Check out this collection on the Star’s Music website. If you want to build your dream guitar, just contact us so that we can select a reference model together (to be chosen from a list of instruments inspired in particular by the iconic guitars of Gibson's golden age), then the different options offered by the Custom Shop (body wood/neck/fingerboard, table grade, pickups, neck profile, fittings, colors, finish, etc.). These specifications are then sent to the Custom Shop for validation, quotation and evaluation of the delivery time. All you have to do is accept the quote and wait! The GIBSON Custom Shop M2M 1958 Les Paul Standard Reissue #80780 (LPR58M2M14641) solid body electric guitar, thanks to its meticulous design (Long Neck Tenon joint, Hot Hide Glue*") and top-grade components (solid Mahogany body and neck, solid Rosewood fingerboard, Custom Buckers Alnico III pickups), is as faithful as possible to the original Les Paul 58. Fans of vintage sounds will get their money's worth, 100% guaranteed.
Sold with Custom Shop hardshell case and certificate of authenticity * Since 2014, Gibson has been using so-called "Hot Hide Glue" with the characteristics of adhesives used in the 1950s.
Derived from animal proteins, it has the particular advantage of simplifying maintenance and repairs. Caring for my GibsonNitrocellulose is an old-fashioned varnish that is highly acclaimed for its acoustic qualities, but requires particular care. Be careful not to clean your guitar with an unsuitable cleaning product, or to place it on any tripod that might damage it.
We recommend Gibson polishes, and the Hercules brand of stands, whose foams have been designed to avoid this type of inconvenience.

Que dire ? Elle est parfaite ! Et je peux vous dire que j'ai passé des heures à en essayer plusieurs... Heureusement, Star's Music Lille et en particulier Romain, sont patients et disposent des ressources (lieu, conditions d'essais, réseau de magasins) pour pouvoir essayer et comparer les guitares dans les meilleures conditions.
C'est la guitare de ma vie ! Une 58 flammée c'était à priori introuvable mais Gibson l'a fait merci !
Les finitions sont au top, le manche est ultra agréable et le confort de jeu est incroyable. Quant au son, il est tout simplement époustouflant pour moi qui recherchais un pur son vintage... Avant de l'essayer j'étais vraiment sceptique de pouvoir percevoir de réelles différences avec mon Epiphone Les Paul Custom, qui pouvaient justifier ce prix énorme ! Les différences sont clairement là et même au delà de ce que j'imaginais. Cette guitare c'est le pied d'enfer !
