The Gibson L-00, a true icon of the steel-string acoustic guitar, makes a triumphant return with the GIBSON Original Collection LG-00 reimagining, blending tradition and modernity through its audiophile-grade features.

Overview

Produced between 1932 and 1945, the Gibson L-00 is a compact steel-string acoustic guitar that won the hearts of musicians thanks to its small size and short scale length. This model from the “L Small Body” series stands out for its ergonomic design and balanced tone.

Exceptional craftsmanship for rich tones

The Gibson Original Collection LG-00 (OCSBL0HFVS) captures the spirit of the L-00 while incorporating modern elements. It is constructed entirely of solid wood:

• Sitka spruce top
• Mahogany body and neck
• Rosewood fingerboard with 19 frets

An innovative recording system for faithful sound reproduction

The L-00 Original is equipped with the exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA system, which revolutionizes the way this guitar is amplified. This system uses two sensors placed under the bridge plate, capturing the vibrations of the strings and the soundboard.

• Natural and dynamic recording
• Faithful to the instrument’s original acoustic sound
• Discreet volume and tone controls located on the inner edge of the soundhole

As a result, every note resonates with unparalleled clarity and richness, offering musicians an exceptional playing experience.
