Gibson Parlor Rosewood EC (Baggs HiFi DNA Preamp) - rosewood burst

Discover the GIBSON Modern Collection Parlor EC Rosewood (MCSBPRHFRB), a guitar that combines elegance, comfort, and rich tones for passionate musicians.

Overview

The GIBSON Modern Collection Parlor EC Rosewood is a modern reinterpretation of the vintage models from the “L Small Body” series. With its compact size, short 24.75-inch scale length, and cutaway, it offers remarkable playing comfort.

All-Solid-Wood Construction for Exceptional Tone

This guitar has an all-solid-wood construction, with a Sitka spruce top, a rosewood body, a mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard with 19 frets. This helps produce rich, clear, and dynamic tones, ideal for fans of fingerpicking, blues, or traditional folk.

Innovative recording system for faithful sound reproduction

The Parlor EC Rosewood is equipped with the exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA system. This innovative system uses two sensors beneath the bridge plate, capturing both the vibrations of the strings and those of the soundboard, resulting in even more natural and dynamic recordings. Each pickup has its own active preamp, and the volume and tone controls are discreetly located on the inner edge of the soundhole.
