The GIBSON Parlor Modern EC Rosewood (AGPLRBGR) acoustic/electric guitar is the next evolution of what a small-body instrument should sound like. Never before has a slim, small-body cutaway guitar offered such a giant sound.
Solid Sitka Spruce top, solid Rosewood back/sides, Richlite fingerboard, LR Baggs VTC preamp (volume control inside soundhole).

Ebony has been a wood of unsustainable harvesting, as a consequence many guitar companies including Martin or Gibson use Richlite, a phenolic resin/cellulose compound material with excellent tone.

Guitare compacte au diapason réduit mais sonne parfaitement avec une belle projection et des aigus cristallins. Les basses sont présentes malgré le format réduit. Sonorité néanmoins typée Parlor.
Finition remarquable pour le prix et qualité des bois excellente. Tout massif. Sunburst magnifique. Nettement au dessus des Gibson passées dont la finition était aléatoire.
Confort de jeu réellement extraordinaire, c’est le pont fort de cette guitare très inspirante.
Le préamplificateur et micro font le job avec seulement 2 molettes de réglage.
Seul bémol: une frette supplémentaire serait bienvenue.
La guitare que j’attendais avec un très bon rapport qualité prix agrément.
