Acoustic bass
The A4 Ultra Natural Fretless bass is back in an improved version, faithful to the build quality of Godin family instruments: the A4 semi-acoustic bass features a chambered body in American basswood, a solid spruce top, a hard maple neck and a fretless Richlite fingerboard for a clear, precise sound over the whole range of notes. But what makes this instrument so special is its dual recording system, thanks to a preamp specially designed for Godin and manufactured by LR Baggs. You can choose between the Lace Sensor magnetic pickup in bridge position for a modern, dynamic sound, or LR Baggs individual sensors for a more authentic, double-bass-like sound.
