Equalizer / channel strip
TheEQ-73 PREMIER uses a Class A circuit similar to that in the EQ section of the classic 1073 module, without the high-pass filter. Additional frequencies have been added, and the midrange band is equipped with two Carnhill (UK) inductors. The second inductor is optimized for the lowest frequencies (160 Hz and 240 Hz), guaranteeing optimum response.

Key features of the EQ-73 PREMIER
Warm, punchy sound
The EQ-73 PREMIER stands out for its smooth, musical sound character, while retaining the warmth and impact of the classic 1073 sound. It's perfect for adapting to a variety of sound sources and musical genres.
Extended frequencies and flexibility
With additional frequencies, the EQ-73 PREMIER covers a range from 20 Hz to 24 kHz. The midband uses a bell curve, while the low and high bands operate in a plateau, offering greater flexibility in equalization.
Carnhill inductors for top-quality mids
The two Carnhill inductors used in the EQ-73 PREMIER ensure optimum response at low frequencies (160 Hz and 240 Hz), for a richer, more accurate sound.
Stand-alone or rack-mount
The EQ-73 PREMIER can be used standalone or integrated with a Golden Age Audio preamplifier. By combining a PRE-73 preamplifier with an EQ-73 PREMIER and a UNITE rack kit, you get a 1073 console slice in 19".
Stepped frequency controls for precise control
Frequency controls allow fine adjustment with a range of +/- 15 dB for bass and +/- 18 dB for treble, offering total control over your sound.
Bypass for each band
Each band of the EQ-73 PREMIER is equipped with a bypass switch, allowing precise control to adjust or cut frequencies as required.
