A classic reinvented

Inspired by the famous 1073 preamp, the PRE-573 MKIII faithfully reproduces this warm, colorful sound signature. Housed in an API 500 format, it combines vintage design with modern modularity.

Total gain control

Enjoy precise gain control up to +80 dB, ideal for capturing even the weakest signals. The main gain is adjusted by a rotary selector, with an additional boost activatable with a single click.

Mic/line versatility

The PRE-573 MKIII is capable of accepting both microphone and line-level signals. Its adjustable input impedance allows perfect adaptation to the characteristics of the connected sources.

Essential built-in functions

This preamp includes all the essential functions: 48V phantom power for condenser microphones, phase inverter for phase management, and two-stage high-pass filter for cleaner sound.

Active DI with character

The high-impedance active instrument input (DI) offers faithful, dynamic reproduction of guitars, basses or synthesizers, while benefiting from the warmth of the input transformer for a full, organic sound.
