Double cut electric guitar

The semi-hollow body electric guitar GRETSCH G2655T Streamliner Center Block Jr. Double-Cut with Bigsby (2807200555) will not disappoint aficionados of the brand, while offering them a resolutely modern instrument that is extremely well produced, pleasant to play and versatile. Thanks to its internal Spruce center block that exempts it from feedback problems, the G2655 naturally offers the brand's typical clear, crunchy tones, but it can also saturate intensely up to bleeding Hard-Rock.

Combining Alnico 2 and Alnico 5 magnets, Gretsch Broad'Tron BT-3S humbucker pickups have superb character, with consistent bass, musical midrange and clear, velvety highs. The push/pull volume control lets you switch from single to double-coil.

The 22-fret Medium Jumbo neck is very user-friendly, with a Thin "U" profile that poses no accessibility problems. The fingerboard is made of Laurier, a high-quality alternative to rosewood. With its superior density and stability, its acoustic performance is comparable to that of Brazilian rosewood.

D'abord attiré par le look de cette très belle guitare, dans une couleur originale (plus présente qu'en photo, heureusement je l'avais déjà vue et testée en magasin). Le son et la facilité de jeu me conviennent: je suis adepte de telecaster depuis toujours, et j'avais envie d'autre chose. Ce modèle est parfait dans cette perspective, ça change radicalement de son avec toujours un vrai confort de jeu : manche agréable, petit format et poids léger. Le bouton principal de volume push pull pour passer de simple à double bobinage des micros est vraiment un plus.
