The GRETSCH G5622 Electromatic Center Block Double-Cut with V-Stoptail (2508300592) is part of the democratic Electromatic line, and features a solid spruce center block that limits the feedback problems inherent in hollow-body guitars, and allows for relatively high levels of saturation. It is equipped with Gretsch Black Top Broad'Tron humbuckers that are both warm and expressive.
The laurel on the fingerboard is a high-quality alternative to rosewood. With its superior density and stability, its acoustic performance is comparable to that of Brazilian rosewood.
