The GRETSCH G5622 Electromatic Center Block Double-Cut with V-Stoptail (2508300565) is part of the democratic Electromatic range, and features a solid spruce center block that limits the feedback problems inherent in hollow-body guitars, and allows for relatively high levels of saturation. It is equipped with Gretsch Black Top Broad'Tron humbuckers that are both warm and expressive. A push-pull function for switching between single and double windings provides additional versatility. The fingerboard is made of Laurier, a high-quality alternative to rosewood. With superior density and stability, its acoustic performance is comparable to that of Brazilian rosewood.
