Key features of the 3rd Wave Desktop Module
Versatile digital oscillators
The 3rd Wave is equipped with three digital oscillators per voice, capable of generating classic or modern waveforms. These oscillators can recreate the legendary 32 8-bit wavetables of the PPG2, while allowing you to create your own tables with up to 64 waveforms each.
Analog filters and modulations
With the analog low-pass filter designed by Dave Rossum and a state-variable filter, the 3rd Wave offers an incredible ability to sculpt your sounds with precision. By adding ADSR+ envelopes and LFOs, you can create dynamic and varied sounds with advanced modulation.
Effects and processing
The module is equipped with two digital effects processors, offering a wide range of effects: chorus, ring modulator, reverbs (including the famous Super Plate Reverb), and more to enhance your compositions.
Sequencer and Arpeggiator
With a sophisticated sequencer and built-in arpeggiator, you can create complex, rhythmically varied multi-part tracks with ease.
Total control
The 3rd Wave is equipped with 41 knobs and 43 buttons, giving you immediate control over your sound parameters and allowing you to shape your sounds in real time. It also includes 500 customizable presets to get you started quickly.
Connectivity
Easily connect your external equipment with line outputs, USB MIDI, pedal inputs and more. The 3rd Wave offers total flexibility for integration into any setup.
