A reinterpretation of the original 1967 Starfire Bass II (notably used by Jack Casady / Jefferson Airplane and Phil Lesh / Grateful Dead), the GUILD Newark St. Collection Starfire II Bass (Emerald Green)is a semi-hollow body electric bass with center block and short scale (30"). Top, back, sides and neck are in laminated Mahogany, and the fingerboard is in Indian Rosewood.
The combination of this luthiery with Guild BC-1 pickups featuring AlNiCo II magnets provides a vast collection of rich, dynamic tones.
