Ibanez AAD190CE WKH Advanced - weathered black open pore

The IBANEZ Advanced Acoustic AAD190CE WKH steel-string acoustic guitar is an electro-acoustic "Grand Dreadnought" cutaway featuring a solid Okoume top, a laminated Okoume back/side duo, a torrefied Nyatoh neck (an accelerated drying process for greater stability and resonance), an Ovangkol fingerboard and an Ibanez AP11 magnetic pickup.

Ovangkol is an African relative of Rosewood, whose essential properties it possesses, with significantly more generous mids and more prominent highs, though less prominent than those of Maple. The proprietary "Grand Dreadnought" template is 5% wider than a traditional Dreadnought. The X-M bracing and scalloped bridge developed by Ibanez further enhance vibration transmission, and magnify frequencies with clean, crisp bass, warm mids and crystal-clear highs.

The AAD is a guitar that's as enjoyable to play as it is functional, with its AP11 system delivering a responsive, musical sound that reflects the deep identity of the instrument and limits feedback problems.
