Ibanez Kiko Loureiro KIKOSP3 TEB - transparent emerald burst

Kiko Loureiro is now an integral part of the pantheon of shredders, having played with Angra and, since 2015, as an active member of Megadeth. The IBANEZ Kiko Loureiro KIKOSP3 TEB solid body electric guitar is based on the original Ibanez Sabre model and customized to the artist's specifications for maximum flexibility.
On this consumer version, the body is made of poplar with a figured maple top, the bolt-on neck is made of maple with a Jatoba fingerboard set with 24 medium frets (25.5" Fender© scale), and the pickup configuration is composed of two humbucking pickups and one single-coil Ibanez Infinity R/RS.
Poplar is considered an alternative to alder, with a similar frequency balance.
This species is affordable and therefore often used to build entry-level instruments.

The fingerboard is made of Jatoba (or Brazilian Cherry), a wood with tonal characteristics close to those of Pau Ferro. Both warm and punchy.
