Reverb, delay & echo effect pedal
The Ibanez Layer Delayer pedal is a revolutionary pedal that redefines the possibilities of delay effects. Unlike traditional tape echoes, this innovative device generates delay signals in sixteenth notes and triplets, each with its own volume control, allowing you to create complex rhythmic patterns and rich sonic textures. The TONE and FILTER controls let you sculpt the timbre of your delay signal, from subtle warmth to aggressive distortion. What's more, the effects loop enriches your sonic palette by integrating external effects into your delay chain. With its innovative features and flexible routing options, Layer Delayer lets you forge your own sonic identity and explore new horizons. Whether you're a guitarist, bassist, keyboardist or producer, Layer Delayer will bring a unique dimension to your music.

- Delay settings :
- The delay time is set to a quarter note, and the pedal generates corresponding delay signals in sixteenth notes and triplets. Each delay signal can be independently amplified by up to 3 dB.
- Tone:
- This effect transitions between three distinct types of delay: digital, analog and tape echo, offering a rich, evolving palette of sounds.
- Filter:
- This effect emulates the classic low-pass ladder filter characteristic of Moog® synthesizers. High resonance with an adjustable cutoff frequency provides the distinctive, incisive character of the Moog ladder filter. (Moog® is a registered trademark of inMusic MMI Acquisition LLC).
- Tail Decay:
- The "Feedback" function allows the delayed signal to persist even after the effect has been deactivated. This potentiometer controls the reverb feedback level, determining how long the delayed signal persists. Setting the parameter to 0 activates true bypass, instantly cutting off the output signal when the effect is deactivated. Conversely, a high value, usually between 90 and 100, creates a long reverberation of the delayed signal, even after the effect has been deactivated.
- Auto-panning :
- One of the main advantages of devices with stereo output is the panning function. The Layer Delayer incorporates 8 distinct auto-panning modes, allowing delayed signals to dynamically sweep across stereo space. These modes include left-right panning, right-left panning and pin-pong panning. Users can further customize the panning effect by choosing a sweep width (narrow or wide) for each mode, and adjusting the overall sweep speed.
- MIDI: All Layer Delayer parameters can be controlled via MIDI controllers. It also supports MIDI clock messages to synchronize delay time.
