Developed in collaboration with the guitarist from Vulfpeck and Fearless Flyers, the JACKSON AUDIO Cory Wong Warp The Optimist Overdrive pedal is an extremely versatile overdrive saturator.
It features two independent circuits that can be activated separately or simultaneously, allowing you to sculpt rhythmic and solo sounds in the finest detail. Constructed from carefully selected germanium diodes, the OD1 channel reproduces the grain of the legendary Klon, an absolute reference in overdrive.
The OD2 channel is perfectly neutral on all frequencies of the spectrum, ideal for rhythm parts or for exacerbating the harmonics of the OD1 channel when the two circuits work together. Based on the Baxandall processor used in many studios, The Optimist's EQ is a superb adaptation optimized for guitar. Using a MIDI/TRS cable, you'll be able to remotely control various parameters (OD1, OD2, EQ).
