Expander
A module version that revolutionizes the music production environment.
The opsix mk II is an unparalleled digital synthesizer. The opsix operator mixer simplified FM synthesis for the first time, making it not only understandable but also controllable and inspiring. With the addition of additional synthesis capabilities and more advanced programming, it has offered a more efficient workflow and an even richer sound. In response to user feedback, Korg decided to release the module version of the opsix MK II.
This model supports MIDI 2.0 and polyphonic aftertouch, making it an excellent companion for the Korg Keystage control keyboard. It is also fully compatible with sounds from the original opsix, opsix mk II, opsix SE, and opsix native software, as well as with many excellent third-party libraries. This new rack-mountable 4U unit has the same controls as the original models but is easily portable and seamlessly integrates into any studio.
MIDI 2.0 and Polyphonic Aftertouch
With the latest software updates, all opsix models, both hardware and software, now support the exchange of MIDI 2.0 properties. Hundreds of original factory sounds have been updated to include polyphonic aftertouch (channel aftertouch is also supported). All of this makes the opsix module an excellent companion for the KORG Keystage controller.
Rack Mountable and/or Desktop
The opsix module is cleverly designed for desktop or rack use. The panel is redesigned to fit a standard width of 19 inches and a depth of 4U, and the rear panel is recessed to allow easy access to cables. In desktop mode, you can choose the panel angle.
