Korg is one of those brands that have revolutionised the world of electronic music. Founded in 1962 by Tsutomu Katoh, the brand, recognised as one of the most innovative, was born of a meeting between a musician/engineer (Tadashi Osanai) and a nightclub manager with a passion for music (Katoh). He originally wanted to improve an existing drum machine. They got a taste for it and other more ambitious projects were born. Their first successes were analogue synthesizers that are still highly sought-after today, such as the Polysix and the MS-20. Korg strives to be at the cutting edge of technology, as demonstrated by the invention of the first portable electronic tuner. Today, the brand's catalogue is wide and varied. It includes synthesizers (analogue, digital and hybrid), as well as digital pianos, workstations, samplers, arranger keyboards, high-quality tuners and more.
