Equipped with the second-generation Hyvibe system, the LAG Hyvibe HV10BCE electro folk bass is an acoustic bass capable of amplifying itself autonomously, producing its own effects, or metamorphosing into a Bluetooth speaker without cables, amplifier or processor.

It's a compact bass with cutaway and short scale, featuring a massive Cedar top, Khaya body and neck, and Brown Brankowood fingerboard. BrankoWood is the invention of Australian scientist Branko Hermescee. It took him two decades to develop a revolutionary process endorsed by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). BrankoWood is made from short-cycle New Zealand pine. The wood is first dried to bring its moisture content down to 10%, then impregnated with catalysts and pigments in pressurized vats, followed by a second drying phase to bring its moisture content down to 2 or 3%, before a second pressurized impregnation, this time with resin.
The 3rd phase consists in compressing the material to lose up to 40% of its mass and densify it. Depending on the level of compression, the result is Pale BrankoWood (equivalent to Spruce), Brown BrankoWood (equivalent to Rosewood) or Black BrankoWood (equivalent to Ebony). Last phase: fine sanding for a perfect look and feel. The integrated HyVibe system can be used to generate a variety of effects (reverb, chorus, delay, octaver, tremolo, phaser, distortion...), trigger a looper effect, and create a more realistic sound.), trigger a looper effect (your guitar continues to play on its own), integrate a Bluetooth speaker (stream your songs or backing tracks directly into your guitar to play over them) and a metronome. A dedicated mobile app lets you further personalize your Hyvibe. Thanks to the new H2 chip and redesigned algorithms, the HyVibe system offers more precise response, superior dynamics and optimal effects reproduction. The interface has been improved with a bright color screen and intuitive navigation. Thanks to the free mobile application and a scalable effects library, you can combine up to four effects and create your own presets.
