The Tramontane 218 series is based on one of the most renowned combinations in acoustic lutherie: a solid Engelmann spruce top combined with Indian rosewood back and sides. This combination offers a remarkable tonal balance, combining clarity, harmonic richness, warmth and projection, while ensuring great musical versatility.

Available in two electro-acoustic cutaway models, the Tramontane 218 series is designed for complementary uses. The Dreadnought T218DCE format favors power, volume and generous bass, while the Auditorium T218ACE format emphasizes ergonomics, tonal balance and precision, with expressive midrange.

The T218DCE and T218ACE models are equipped with the STAGE LÂG preamp, featuring a 3-band equalizer with parametric midrange, tuner, phase inversion and notch filter for effective feedback management in amplified situations. The cutaway provides comfortable access to the upper frets.

Faithful to the Tramontane DNA, the 218 series takes up LÂG's emblematic aesthetic codes: characteristic headstock and bridge, oval soundhole and meticulous finishes.
