Lag Tramontane T177JCE - naturel

The LAG Tramontane T177JCE steel-string acoustic guitar is a Jumbo equipped with a solid Engelmann spruce top, a laminated Khaya back/side/neck (a tropical wood belonging to the mahogany family, with a grain similar to Honduran mahogany, and a sound with present mid-range, muffled bass and treble) and a Brownwood fingerboard. Brownwood is an ideal substitute for rosewood, derived from short-cycle pines native to New Zealand. The wood is first dried to bring its moisture content down to 10%, then impregnated with catalysts and pigments in pressurized vats. A second drying phase brings its moisture content down to 2 or 3%, before a second impregnation, this time with resin, under pressure.
The 3rd phase consists in compressing the material to lose up to 40% of its mass and densify it.
Last phase: fine sanding for perfect appearance and contact.
