With its solid spruce top and laminated mahogany body, the LAG Tramontane T70DCE-NAT steel-string acoustic guitar offers a seductive traditional sound at a price that will enrage the competition. Inspired by the multi-award-winning Lag Tramontane T80, the LAG Tramontane T70DCE (Natural Satin) is an electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar with cutaway, featuring a solid Engelmann spruce top, a laminated Sapele back/side/neck trio and a Brownwood fingerboard.
The Lag T70DCE is an exceptional steel-string acoustic guitar for the beginner or even more experienced player, offering great playing comfort, meticulous finish and an attractive price. The intuitive pre-amp system with on-board tuner makes it easy to record on stage or in the recording studio.Englemann spruce is a superior variety. Less dense and paler than Sitka or Adirondack, it generates noticeably more midrange, a softer attack and remarkable clarity, helping to give the guitar a more vintage sound. Brownwood is an ideal substitute for Rosewood, derived from short-cycle pines from New Zealand. The wood is first dried to bring its moisture content down to 10%, then impregnated with catalysts and pigments in pressurized vats, followed by a second drying phase to bring its moisture content down to 2 or 3%, before a second pressurized impregnation, this time with resin.
The 3rd phase consists in compressing the material to lose up to 40% of its mass and densify it.
Last phase: fine sanding for perfect appearance and contact.ce. The intuitive pre-amplification system with on-board tuner lets you be heard in all circumstances.
