Leslie 3500 Key Features
HORN ROTOR / HORN DRIVER
The Leslie 3500 uses the same rotor and horn driver as the vintage 122H/142H models, ensuring faithful reproduction of the classic Leslie sound. The horn is designed in its pre-1970s shape, and the V-21 tweeter is recreated to respect its sonic and structural characteristics.
Woofer
The Leslie 3500's woofer is identical to that of the legendary Leslie 122, and has been optimized for increased sound power and faithful reproduction of low frequencies.
Overdrive
Thanks to its transistor preamplifier based on push-pull technology, the Leslie 3500 delivers the distortion typical of vintage amplifiers. The level of saturation is adjustable via the GAIN control and the OVERDRIVE ON/OFF switch.
Equalizer
The Leslie 3500 features a 3-band equalizer:
- BASS: Adjusts low frequencies.
- MIDDLE: Modulates midrange frequencies.
- TREBLE: Adjusts high frequencies.
These settings allow optimum adaptation of the sound to the acoustics and instrument used.
BASS OUT
A dedicated output for connecting a subwoofer or external bass amp. A built-in low-pass filter adjusts the frequency of the output signal for optimum low-frequency management.
Motor control
The Leslie 3500's brushless motors ensure stable speed, independent of voltage or frequency variations. Rotor speed, acceleration and deceleration are adjustable via a control panel hidden behind the nameplate.
