Vintage 2015, Variax seriesA breath of fresh air in the Variax range thanks to the collaboration between Line 6 and Yamaha, whose project is clearly to bring Variax HD technology within the reach of as many people as possible. With its design and luthiery reminiscent of the Fender Stratocaster, the Line 6 Variax Standard (99-700-0105-02) nonetheless retains the substance that made Variax so successful. It offers the same impressive collection of reference electric, acoustic and traditional guitars, more than a dozen alternative tunings, and even the possibility of becoming a virtual luthier thanks to the available Workbench HD software that lets you mix different types of bodies, necks and pickups. The Variax Standard can also be used as a traditional guitar.
