Steen Grøntved, musician, engineer and founder of the Danish firm LunaStone, has previously spent countless hours analyzing how the various components of a pedal interact with our guitars and amplifiers. In his quest for absolute transparency, he finally opted for the one and only technology that made sense to him: multiple cascaded gain stages. Unlike most other saturation pedals, which use diode-clipping circuitry, his patented TrueOverDrive approach captures the full character of your amplifier, and every nuance of your playing, regardless of the type of pickup your instrument is equipped with.
