Solid body electric bass

With a level of performance worthy of the best in America, the solidbody electric bass MARCUS MILLER V7 Ash 4-String 2nd Generation (MN, Natural, without gig bag) is unquestionably one of the best iterations of the Fender Jazz Bass on the market (asymmetrical Ash body, bolt-on Maple neck, 34" scale).
Imagined by the great Marcus Miller himself, it's both extremely comfortable and extremely versatile, thanks to the combination of pickups with Alnico V magnets and active 18v or passive electronics (via mini-switch) that provide a huge catalog of vintage or more contemporary tones, but expressive and generous in all circumstances.

This evolution, released in 2018, sees the introduction of Super-J Revolution pickups (new magnets and winding procedure) with hyper-convincing vintage temperament, rounded neck edges and satin varnish, radius 9.5 and medium frets for optimum comfort. Rosewood fingerboards replaced by Ebony.

Made in Indonesia. Several variants (4 & 5 strings, left-handed, fretless).

Première basse, après de nombreuses années à pratiquer la guitare, vrai plaisir de jeu.
Comme débutant je suis vraiment satisfait. Pas mal de réglage pour avoir des sonorités différentes et j'en ai trouvé plusieurs qui me conviennent.
Lutherie élégante et finition aussi.

Je ne mets pas le maximum étant amateur et m'y connaissant peu, mais je conseille vivement.
Faut pas avoir peur des réglages, si on veut quelque chose de plus minimaliste c'est probablement mieux un autre choix.

Possédant deux basses haut de gammes, cette MM V7 que j'ai acquis début février 2024 et que j'ai attentivement testé sonne comme elles avec un manche très confortable un pré-amp aux réglages no limites , très polyvalente, belle finition. rien à changer je vais la laisser monter d'origine . Vraiment exelente collaboration entre SIRE et Mister Marcus Miller on en attendai pas moins ,remarquable rapport qualité-prix

Un excellent instrument d'une qualité de finitions exemplaires ! Agréable au touché et à l'usage, cette basse est magnifique. C'est un coup de coeur. Construit avec une variété de bois robuste et une sonorisation performante, elle joue dans la cour des grandes pour un prix tout à fait raisonnable. Les améliorations apportées sur cette seconde version en font une valeur sûre pour cette gamme de prix.

Ayant essayé des basses bien plus onéreuses, elle déchire en rapport qualité prix à tout point de vue : qualité du son, possibilités (préamplis), manche "autoroutier", qualité générale... et en plus elle est chouette !
On dit merci qui ? Marcus & Sire !
Depuis, je joue dessus et je ne m'en lasse pas.
A acheter les yeux fermés (à la limite, les ouvrir pour choisir la couleur).
