The MARTIN GUITAR D-X2E Mahogany electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar is a Dreadnought that deserves your full attention for its price-performance ratio and its earth-friendly design: the top is laminated Sitka Spruce, and the back and sides are made of HPL (High Pressure Laminate) covered with a film that imitates the look of Mahogany to perfection.
HPL is a combination of resin and paper, pressed and heated at very high temperatures to produce a remarkable sound. Martin&Co is a pioneer in the development of new materials and the search for alternative species to reduce the human impact on traditional wood reserves. Fitted with a discreet Fishman MX system (volume and tone controls are in the soundhole).
