The MARTIN GUITAR GPCE Inception Maple is a Grand Performance-style electro-acoustic folk guitar as sumptuous as it is virtuous. Combining tradition and technology, the GPCE Inception is crafted from solid, durable and abundant woods, including an FSC-certified European Spruce top, a three-piece Maple and Walnut back/side duo and a Walnut neck/fingerboard combo.
It features a unique lightweight "Skeletonized X-Brace" bracing system for enhanced resonance and tonal balance, and a satin-finish Amber Fade Sunburst finish that lets it vibrate more freely, allowing you to enjoy all its clarity and power. The GPCE Inception is equipped with an LR Baggs Anthem preamp, whose volume and tone controls are cleverly positioned at the edge of the soundhole. The proprietary Martin "Grand Performance" gauge is a cross between Dreadnought and Auditorium, with a traditional 25.4" scale. In a compromise between Rosewood, Mahogany and Maple, Walnut has a well-balanced bass/midrange/treble frequency balance, combined with remarkable clarity. Its bass is generous and precise, its midrange dense and its treble fleshy.
