A modern, democratic variant of the legendary D-35 from "The Man In Black", the MARTIN & CO DX Johnny Cash electro-acoustic steel-string acoustic guitar is a Dreadnought that deserves your full attention for its price-performance ratio and its earth-friendly design: its top, back and sides are made of HPL (High Pressure Laminate), a combination of resin and paper pressed and heated at very high temperatures, offering a truly remarkable sound.
Martin&Co is a forerunner in the development of new materials and the search for alternative species to reduce the human impact on traditional wood reserves. Fingerboard and bridge are made of Richlite, a composite material itself made from recycled paper and resin heated to very high temperatures, whose acoustic performance is close to that of Ebony. Fitted with a discreet Fishman MX system (volume and tone controls are in the soundhole).
