Folk guitar

Based on Martin’s legendary D-18, the MARTIN Model America 1 is limited edition Dreadnought acoustic guitar, exclusively built with all United States sourced woods, including sycamore back and sides, a cherry neck, black walnut fingerboard, headplate and bridge, as well as an Adirondack spruce top and bracing.

Sycamore is tone-wise somewhere between Mahogany and Maple, with good clean overtones like Maple and that punch and elasticity of Mahogany but more clean, trebly, and melodic than dark and complex.
