The Avalon is equipped with a revised version (in person by Phil Jamison) of the C30 12AX circuit that made the DC30 combo such a legend; connoisseurs will recognize its three-dimensional depth on first hearing. The sumptuous clean sound is as intense as it is subtle, offering a surprising crystalline quality to the double-coil pickups of a Gibson© Les Paul©, or giving extraordinary amplitude and punch to the single-coils of a Fender Stratocaster. Its crunch is no less musical and phenomenal, with a responsiveness that's out of this world. On clean sound and at low volume, the reverb adds an extra dimension of great finesse. On rockier, more powerful tones, you'll achieve sublime depths.
