Reverb, delay & echo effect pedal
The F-Stop combines two effects found in vintage American tube amplifiers in a single pedal. The combination of tube spring reverb and pulsed "bias" tremolo was first introduced in the early 1960s and has since become a standard sound for guitarists and other instrumentalists.
The F-Stop was designed to integrate classic tube amplifier effects in a small package powered by a 9VDC pedal supply. Internally, the F-Stop has an 18 V headroom, so it can live as comfortably at the end of your signal chain as at the beginning. The spring part of the pedal is digital, but the guitar signal path and tremolo circuit are 100% analog.
The sound of the bias tremolo and spring reverb is undeniable, and the F-Stop uses modern electronics to achieve an authentic recreation of these effects with a circuit topography similar to that of tube amplifiers.
