Looper effect pedal
For over ten years, MOOER has been fascinating musicians with its innovative effects pedals, and the new MVP3 Loopation is ready to extend this tradition. This versatile, feature-rich pedal enables artists to create harmonious loops with their vocals and instruments. It's part of MOOER's recently launched VP series, which offers versatile support for microphone inputs.
The Loopation offers 11 slots for saving recorded audio loops, 8 of which offer 5 minutes of recording time and 3, 10 minutes. Users can select the slots via a simple "song" dial, and once the audio has been recorded, the files are automatically saved on the device. The pedal features two recording modes: real-time and automatic.
Real-time mode is activated when the right footswitch is pressed, like traditional loop pedals. Conversely, automatic mode is activated by pressing the right footswitch, and starts recording as soon as a signal is detected, stopping with a further press.
The looping functionality doesn't stop there. Pressing the right footswitch starts file playback, and during playback, pressing it again activates dubbing mode, which continues until the footswitch is pressed again. Playback can be interrupted by two quick presses on the right pedal, or by switching to another save location.
When playback is stopped, users can delete all saved layers by holding down the right pedal for 1 second, or by pressing the "stop" pedal twice. Finally, they can undo their overdubs by holding down the left pedal while an overdub is playing, and repeat this action to restore the deleted layer. To reverse the audio file, simply press the left pedal.
Loopation offers XLR and 1/4" inputs, usable in "mixed" or "individual" mode. Users can toggle between these modes by holding down the right pedal while connecting the power supply. In mixed mode, both inputs are active, and can be balanced with the "mix" wheel, while in individual mode, the input signals are isolated from their respective outputs. The main dial adjusts the overall volume of both outputs.
