Solid body electric bass

The solid-body electric bass MUSIC MAN Tim Commerford Artist Series StingRay Bass (216-90-79-06 ) was developed in partnership with the legendary bassist from Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave and 7D7D. It takes the basic features of the historic StingRay (Ash body, bolt-on neck in Torrefied Maple), augmented by special features requested by the artist. These include a powerful humbucking pickup, an 18-volt preamp for superior punch and amplitude, and three-band EQ for precise frequency control.
In the early '70s, Forrest White and Tom Walker left Fender-CBS to launch their own company, which officially became Music Man in 1974. Leo Fender in turn left Fender and joined them as president in 1975. Designed by Leo Fender, Tom Walker and Sterling Ball in Fullerton, California, the StingRay was then considered an innovative bass, and in a flash became very popular with the world's most renowned bassists.
