The MXR Fat Sugar Drive M94SE compact effects pedal can function as a boost, overdrive or distortion pedal. This flexibility is clearly due to the uniqueness and efficiency of the "Drive" control. It reproduces the transition from clean to saturated sound, and the "vintage doubler" effect that can only be obtained on a tube amp. This circuit gives the Fat Sugar Drive an uncommon amplitude and openness, and a switch in the case lets you choose between true or buffered bypass.
