Standalone dj controller
The Numark Mixstream Pro is a standalone DJ controller.
The Mixstream Pro is a standalone two-channel DJ console with built-in Wi-Fi that is quite revolutionary, since we have here a completely autonomous product (except for the power supply, it is not battery-powered), and administered by Engine OS 2.0, just like the Denon Prime products.
It features a very efficient touchscreen interface and workflow close to the Denon DJ standalone machines, centered on a 7" high resolution multi-touch screen. The 3-band EQ is complemented by a high/low pass filter potentiometer.
4 pads associated with 4 performance modes running on two banks (Cue 1-4/5-8 etc...) offer ultra efficient control over any DJ performance.
Benefiting from the latest version of Engine OS, it allows DJs to control their light show directly from the touch screen, either wirelessly and free of charge via the Philips Hue protocol (the MixStream automatically generates a light show by analyzing the tracks), or wired (with the addition of a DMX Soundswitch interface and the purchase of a Soundswitch license or subscription) for DMX machines.
In terms of sound, the product integrates a sound bar close to what an MPC Live 2 offers, so high quality.
For those who want more power, the Mixstream Pro offers XLR and RCA outputs.
