Overdrive, distortion & fuzz effect pedal
The TubeMan MKII mini pedal is Nux's very compact Screamer version. The mythical green overdrive / boost pedal is without doubt the best-known, copied and recorded pedal since its birth in the late '70s. This type of pedal quickly became the secret weapon of many prestigious guitarists such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Carlos Santana, Gary Moore, Joe Bonamassa, John Mayer, and so many others to make their guitars scream! The aim of this pedal was to reproduce, in a box, the sound of an all-tube amp, with a signal high enough to bring out the natural, warm overdrive of the preamp and power tubes, delivering the character and harmonics so appreciated in all-tube amps. Screamer-type pedals therefore make it possible to achieve this sound and feel of playing with more control, and at an acceptable volume, avoiding the high volume required on an all-tube amp.
