The OKKO Cocaine effect pedal for electric guitar is an Opto compressor, dual clean boost and preamp, all in the same pedal!
An optocoupler is used for smooth, natural compression. The Cocaine's great musicality is largely due to its specific operating mode. The OKKO Cocaine is what you might call an "ascending" compressor. In fact, it works in the opposite way to that usually found, preserving the attack and dynamics of notes played strongly, and enhancing those that lack level. As you can see, the circuitry inside this blue box has absolutely nothing in common with the gray, red and orange pedals with which every guitarist is familiar.
