The ORTOFON RECORD TEST is designed to check your HiFi system. The TEST RECORD contains special test signals developed to analyze the cell's performance as well as its interaction with the tonearm and turntable.
Before testing your cell, check the HiFi system's functionality. The left speaker must be connected to the left amplifier channel and vice versa; Both speakers must work in phase and be optimally positioned in the room.
The test recording is designed to be read by your system with built-in RIAA equalization. Volume control is recommended to be set at a moderate signal level.
Refer to your turntables and arm instructions for proper installation and alignment, adjust the tone arm to be parallel to the recording surface, adjust the vertical movement force, and anti-slip. according to the recommended technical data and adjust the cantilever.
