Since 1982, when it was first produced, thousands of apprentice drummers around the world have taken their first steps on this Pearl Export! And the return of this complete Pearl configuration, abandoned in 2007 to the dismay of impecunious musicians, can only delight young and old alike. This new edition includes the Demonator bass drum pedal and a pack of Sabian SBR cymbals. All that's missing is the drummer, not included...
New suspensions.
But the novelties don't stop there, thanks to brand-new tom suspensions that rival much more expensive systems. The OptiLoc system uses high-performance rubber for maximum sustain and resonance in all circumstances. What's more, this attachment system adapts in no time to your usual playing position.
Poplar and mahogany.
When it comes to wood, Pearl has succeeded in relegating the crate-wood barrels of certain low-cost brands to the backwoods closet in favor of a six-ply combination of poplar and mahogany, an obviously winning combination. The same concern for quality is to be found on the various stands, notably the snare drum and cymbal stands featuring the UniLock system, which is extremely effective in any position.

And what about the Demonator bass drum pedal, which in itself justifies the choice of an Export drum kit? A pedal that combines intelligent adjustment with ease of use and comfort.
