Paul Reed Smith's company has a talent for reinvention. The PRS SE Standard (Sage Green) is a shining example of this. This remarkable solid-body electric guitar, a hybrid between a Custom 24 and a Classic Electric, offers a vast collection of tones thanks to the flexibility of its pickup trio consisting of a 58/15 LT "S" double-coil and two Narrowfield DD S. The latter required several months of work before arriving at the ideal compromise between single- and double-coil.
