An ideal hybridization of the concept of the two American electric guitars referenced in the late 1950s, the PRS SE Swamp Ash Special (Wing Tuners, Vintage Sunburst) is impressive in its quality and flexibility of sound: the essences are superb, the electronics dynamic and warm, and the lutherie machined with undeniable care.
On the Swamp Ash Special, the 85/15 S pickups are complemented by a single-coil PRS-Designed AS-01 combining AlNiCo and steel magnets. With a five-position selector switch and a push/pull potentiometer that doubles the wiring combinations, there are few musical registers the SE Swamp Ash Special can't serve.
