The PRS USA Bolt-On NF 53 (Black Doghair ) solid body electric guitar is directly inspired by an original 1953 vintage model in Paul Reed Smith's personal collection. It is a modern, versatile evolution of this model, capable of adapting to a wide range of sounds. It owes much of its flexibility to the duo of PRS Narrowfield DD pickups, which took several months of work to arrive at the ideal compromise between single and double coils.
