The PRS USA Bolt-On Dustie Waring DW CE 24 Floyd (Waring Smokeburst) solidbody electric guitar is the signature model of the guitarist of Between the Buried & Me, an excellent American Progressive Metal band.
It's a custom version of the current production PRS USA Bolt-On CE 24, featuring a Maple fingerboard, a "Dustie Waring Pattern Thin" neck profile, Mojotone DW Tomahawk Gen 2 high-gain pickups, and a Floyd Rose 1000 vibrato. Mojotone DW Tomahawk Gen 2 pickups combine ceramic and AlNiCo magnets with a special winding. They offer a generous output level with full bass frequencies, while retaining clarity and definition.

Introduced in 1988, the PRS Classic Electric is distinguished from the Custom 24 by its Fender-style bolt-on neck in Maple, with PRS's characteristic 25" scale. Its mahogany body and humbucking pickups are borrowed from the Gibson© concept, and the PRS CE 24's hybrid lutherie makes it extremely flexible. It offers a vast selection of magnificent tones, reminiscent of a Fender or Gibson of the finest vintage, depending on the position of the selector.
